Abigail Elphick: Ijeoma Ukenta plans on taking legal actions against NJ ‘Victoria’s Secret Karen’

On Monday, July 12, A video of a White woman attacking a Black woman, Ijeoma Ukenta, went viral on Twitter and Facebook. The assault happened at Victoria’s Secret outlet in Short Hills Mall, New Jersey.

The original video was posted on Tiktok by Ijeoma with the username “Iamlovekills” is unavailable as her account was deleted from the video-sharing platform.

In the videos, Abigail is seen attempting to hit the woman behind the camera, but as soon as she discovers her moves are being recorded, she begins weeping and shouting for security while sitting on the floor.

“Don’t record me.” She said. She attempts to scream, demanding the Black woman to be removed from the store. She then decided to fake a mental breakdown, gaining the sympathy of nearly everyone in the store despite her being the aggressor in this situation.

Ijeoma was asked to move away and put her phone away repeatedly as this white woman chases her around the store, threatening her safety and screaming at the top of her lungs.

Ijeoma created a GoFundMe account after she was harassed by Abigal.

“I am a Black Muslimah Nigerian AM and I was treated like it was 1920 in Short Hills Mall. I was assaulted and harassed by a white woman and nothing was done by security nor the police. I’m looking to hire an excellent attorney who can help me bring light to this wrong. ” She wrote.

She also said her TikTok account was deleted having she shared a video of the incident. ” I was kicked off a TikTok for posting what happened to me and they let someone else post and get millions and millions of views however they deleted 2 of my accounts. One that I have for my Garden which was my original account and another 1 that I created after they deleted my main account. ” She added.

As of this writing,  Ijeoma’s GoFundMe has reached $34k which has surpassed her $20k goal.

Twitter reacts to Abigail Elphick video

There have been several reactions on Twitter after the video went viral. “It’s the screaming of “get away from me!” while chasing after the women that had me,” A user wrote.

Another wrote: “But the question is what really happened before the woman w the camera started shooting? That “Karen” definitely seems to be in distress, what caused that? Always three sides to the story”

Another said: “Just sickening. The woman needs to be seen by someone in mental health. Watching her chase while screeching “get her away from me” was a strange and stressful thing to watch.”

“And still their first response is to go to the black woman and ask her to stop recording. Are you f__ing kidding me? Where in this world can a black person go without having to defend every aspect of their right to exist? I’m too outdone!!!!” Another said.

A lady wrote: “I honestly believe they react like this after being caught now only because their lives can be ruined through social media after the fact but they want as much sympathy as possible in that moment lmao”
