Alexis Lorenze, a Florida resident, has gone viral on Social Media after reportedly experiencing severe reactions to vaccines she received at UCI Medical Center in Anaheim, California.

According to Alexis and her family, she was given vaccines for meningitis, pneumonia, and tetanus, which allegedly triggered a serious reaction within minutes.

Her father, Todd Lorenze, shared his concerns on Facebook, stating, “My daughter is in the hospital at UCI Medical Center. The doctors gave her a meningitis vaccine that she didn’t need at this moment. Ten minutes after the shot, she started swelling and turning purple.”

In a follow-up post, Todd provided another update on Alexis’ condition: “Doctors are doing very little to help her. They’ve only given her pain medication and Benadryl. After pushing for more care, they gave her a steroid, but more needs to be done.”

The 23-year-old woman has reportedly had a history of Paroxysmal Nocturnal Hemoglobinuria (PNH), a rare blood disorder, since January 2024.

According to the family, the doctors initially refused to continue her PNH treatment unless she received the vaccines for tetanus, pneumococcal, and meningitis.

Shortly after being vaccinated, Alexis allegedly suffered temporary blindness, a locked jaw, and vomiting, leading to a critical deterioration in her health.

Photos and videos shared by her father show Alexis in a concerning state.

In the most recent update, Todd revealed that Alexis does not have health insurance in California. She is currently being transferred to a private hospital in Los Angeles for specialized care.

The situation has sparked widespread reactions on Social Media, with many expressing concern and support for Alexis as her family continues to share updates.
