Florida-born rapper Richard Morales Jr. known as Gunplay went on his IG page to show off his new look. “I think I see a wave first day out how bout you,” He wrote. The picture has got fans reacting.

“Woooow bro why u cut it??? Looks fire tho” One said. “Whatttttttttttttttttttt. Looking like “Bean Pie my brother ?” Another said. “@itzdonlogan my boy looking like he about to sell some insurance,” One said. Another fan said: “My boy!!! Come on to the cut side”. Another said: “Damn, dawg! Never thought I’d see the day, Gunplay with a caesar fade”.

Who is Gunplay?

Gunplay, an American rapper from Carol City, Florida, began his career in hip hop as a member of Rick Ross’ southern hip hop trio, Triple C’s. Gunplay announced in July 2012 that he has signed a solo recording contract with Def Jam Recordings after signing to Ross’s Maybach Music Group label upon its launch in 2009.

Morales dropped out of high school at the age of 15 after being informed he would have to retake ninth grade. In 1997, he met Carol City native Rick Ross, and their shared love of music inspired them to establish the group Triple C’s (Carol City Cartel), which also included rappers Torch and Young Breed.

Gunplay has a son with his ex-wife, Richard Morales III, whom he divorced in 2008.
