Queen Elizabeth II tested positive for COVID-19 on Sunday but fans thought it was Nicki Minaj who got the virus.

After the covid news was shared on Twitter some fans thought the “queen” was Nicki but it was not. The report was referring to the Queen of the United Kingdom.

“God save THE QUEEN. Sending my love & respect to The Queen & her palace. Wishing you a speedy recovery”, Nicki Minaj said in a tweet.

According to Buckingham Palace, Queen Elizabeth II tested positive for COVID-19 on Sunday and is suffering mild, cold-like symptoms.

The palace said the 95-year-old British monarch will continue with light duties at Windsor Castle over the coming week.

“She will continue to receive medical attention and will follow all the appropriate guidelines,” the palace said in a statement.

The queen has received three doses of the coronavirus vaccine. According to Marca.

COVID-19 has lately infected both her eldest son Prince Charles and her daughter-in-law Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall. Charles has since returned to work.
