Banky W shares meaning of son’s name Zaiah Wellington, set to drop new song “Final Say”

Banky W and Adesua Etomi have welcomed a bouncing baby boy and his name is Hazaiah Olusegun “Champ” Wellington aka. Zaiah.

The Nigerian singer on Monday went on Instagram to share the birth of his son while he also celebrated his wife’s birthday. “Happy birthday to my lady, my love and Purpose Partner, My world, my wife and Baby Mama.” He told Adesua.

The birth news of Banky W and Adesua Etomi’s first child went over social media as fans sent several congratulatory messages. “Congratulations Mama & Papa Z! God is awesome ” A fan wrote.

“Zaiah” Wellington Meaning

A day after welcoming son, Banky W gives the meaning of Zaiah and his full name. “His name is Hazaiah Olusegun “Champ” Wellington
(we call him Zaiah, pronounced Zah-Yah, or Champ)” Banky wrote.

He added: “Hazaiah means God sees/God has seen in Hebrew. Olusegun means God has given victory in Yoruba.”

The “Be My Lover” singer said his son’s name “captures our (Banky W and Adesua) testimony regarding the journey towards his arrival; Zaiah is truly an answer to our prayers.”

Banky added :”God had the Final Say. And I don’t know what you’re praying or hoping for… but I do know that God is still in the business of answering prayers, and if you can trust Him, and place your faith in the Giver, not in your preferred timing of His gift, nothing is impossible. If He could do this for us, please believe He can do anything for you.”

The Nigerian singer plans to drop a new song titled, “Final Say” alongside the official music video on Thursday Feb 26th.

The song which was written Banky W and fellow singer Maytronomy, was produced by Cobhams Asuquo — Banky W’s wife Adesua Etomi-Wellington will be featured in “Final Say” music video.

“It stars my sunshine, @adesuaetomi, looking FIIIINE AS WINE while 6 months pregnant with Zaiah…who was born in January and turned out to be just as beautiful as his Momma is” He wrote.

He added: “Our hearts are full. Our joy knows no bounds. And I pray that in these incredibly tough, dark and challenging times, our story, this song and video will put a smile on your face, a pep in your step and a glimmer of hope in your heart.”
