Martinus King: Teen, 17, shot dead in Rosemoor neighborhood
A 17-year-old teen has been shot dead in Rosemoor neighborhood, Chicago.
Martinus King, 17, was shot and killed while in the basement of a residence in the 100 block of East 107th Street in the Rosemoor neighborhood shortly after 6:10 p.m. Saturday, police said.
King, who lived in the same block where the shooting occurred, according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office, suffered multiple gunshot wounds. Chicago Tribune reported.
He was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in critical condition, where he was pronounced dead at 6:44 p.m., according to the medical examiner’s office.
