23-Year-Old Man Arrested for Stabbing Father to Death in Delta State

A tragic incident occurred in Sapele Local Government Area of Delta State, where a 23-year-old man, identified as Success, stabbed his father to death. The incident took place on Sunday, January 12, 2025.

Reports indicate that the father sustained severe injuries from the stabbing and was rushed to the hospital for medical treatment. Unfortunately, he succumbed to his injuries on Monday, January 13, 2025.

The motive behind the attack remains unclear as investigations continue. The police promptly arrested Success, who is currently in custody.

Delta State Police Public Relations Officer, SP Bright Edafe, confirmed the incident in a phone call with reporters. “The incident occurred yesterday (Sunday), but the father died today. Success is in custody,” Edafe stated.
