Michael Flynn calls for ‘One Religion Under God’ in the U.S.
The former president Donald Trump’s one-time national security adviser, Mike Flynn, is calling for “one religion and one God” in the U.S. He said on Saturday.
“If we are going to have one nation under God, which we must, we have to have one religion,” Flynn said in an event in San Antonio. “One nation under God, and one religion under God.”
There were reactions after attorney Ron Filipowski posted the video on Twitter. Politico’s chief economic correspondent, Ben White, called Flynn’s statement “as fundamental a rejection of the very founding principles of this nation as you are likely to find.”
“Wow look how much Michael Flynn hates America.” Former U.S. Attorney Preet Bharara also reacted.
