Carissa Jane Smith, a 30-year-old former substitute teacher in Missouri, has been arrested on charges of allegedly paying students for sexual encounters, providing them with marijuana and alcohol, and sharing explicit photos via Snapchat.
The Pulaski County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office has filed 19 felony charges against Smith, including statutory rape, statutory sodomy, and sexual trafficking.
Authorities say the alleged incidents occurred at Smith’s residence and other locations, with multiple victims detailing encounters in a probable cause statement.
