J $tash, a Florida rapper most known for being a former signee to Rich The Kid’s Rich Forever label, has reportedly committed suicide at the age of 28.

According to KTLA 5, the rapper, whose actual name is Justin Joseph, fatally shot Jeanette Gallegos, a 27-year-old mother of three, in front of her three children before killing himself.

On New Year’s Day, a murder occurred in a residence in Temple City, Los Angeles. On Saturday, January 1 at around 7:15 a.m., police responded to a domestic violence report in the 9200 block of Pentland Street. J $tash and the 27-year-old woman were both found dead at the scene. Gallegos was said to have been shot numerous times, while Joseph seemed to have self-inflicted gunshot wounds. On the scene, a gun was discovered.

“Right now, the evidence at the scene and the preliminary information we have from the children in the home is that it’s a murder-suicide,” said Lt. Derrick Alfred. The kids all lived inside the home, aged between 5 and 11. They were not harmed.

According to some reports, Gallegos was JStash girlfriend. Those claims have not been verified.
