Chessnezia scam & Robotic chessboard (HONEST review)
Did you recently see an ad on YouTube about a Chessboard that is automatic or robotic? You are not alone on this.
There is a website called Chessnezia and we will be writing a review about the online shopping website and sharing all the details you need to know.
Online Shopping Scam
Online shopping scam websites collect credit card information from victims by using a fake or low-quality online store.
These scams are difficult to detect because they can sometimes deliver goods or services to create the appearance of trustworthiness. The quality, however, is unavoidably poor. More importantly, it is an uncontrolled gateway through which your credit card information is obtained for excessive and unauthorized use.
Chessnezia scam
Chessnezia is one of those scam online shopping websites, according to our thorough review of the website.
Here are the red flags we found.
Chessnezia Domain
The Chessnezia domain is too new. According to the whois record, it was registered in January 2023 and will expire in 2024. The website is too new to be trusted with your credit card details.
Stolen Images on Chessnezia
The majority of the images on the website are stolen. We performed a reverse image search on some of the items and discovered that the images were lifted from other websites.
They also stole content from Phantom Chess, a Kickstarter for the real product, and pretended to sell it when they were not. However, there is a fresh report that Phantom Chess Kickstarter is also a scam.
Chessnezia Fake address
The address (Hričovská 15, 01001, Žilina) on the Chessnezia website is fake. The address will lead you nowhere.
Chessnezia’s social media page
We also found out that the Chessnezia website doesn’t have a social media page. A legit company should have a social media page with a good amount of followers.
Chessnezia Low domain authority
The Chessnezia.com website has a very low domain authority with no links from high-authority websites to show its trustworthiness.
Chessnezia contact form
The Chessnezia contact form is not working after we tested it. Their email addresses is also fake.
Chessnezia pages not working
We also noticed that the pages on the Chessnezia are broken. There are no Terms of Service, Privacy Policies, or Refund Policies pages on the website.
The founder’s photos also appear to be stock photos.
How to avoid shopping scam websites
Always check the domain name and year of registration. A new domain giving cheap offers is a red flag
Is the website selling clothes, bags, or suits at a clearly discounted, unbelievable price? You can’t go wrong if you assume something that sounds too good to be true isn’t.
Also, examine the company’s name, social media pages, address, and online reviews as well. You can, however, send us any website you want us to review at (admin@gistvic.com). We will do our best to respond to you as soon as possible.
Wrap Up
If you have fallen victim to the Chessnezia scam and are concerned that you have given the website too much information, contact your bank or credit card company and ask what steps you can take to secure your account as a precaution.
